The Head of Sales Dach plays a pivotal role in propelling PVO International's growth by operationally and strategically managing revenue, volume and margin for assigned and new Key Accounts. Operating independently, in alignment with our objectives, processes and policies. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director.


Your responsibilities

  • Undertake operational leadership responsibilities, ensuring seamless coordination within the DACH team;
  • Provide hands-on support for the opportunities and challenges of day-to-day sales activities, fostering a high-performance culture;
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and product portfolio tailored to the dynamic DACH region;
  • Conduct thorough market and customer trend analysis to enable agile responses to short- and medium-term developments;
  • Lead and inspire the DACH team through the impartation of specialized knowledge and personalized attention;
  • Oversee operative personnel management, negotiating and finalizing employee target agreements, conducting employee appraisals, and fostering continuous employee development and training;
  • Maintain keen awareness of the latest market trends and capitalize on emerging sales opportunities;
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the team to transform market insights into captivating and prosperous customer projects.

Job requirements

Your profile

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve intricate sales challenges with a strategic acumen;
  • Proven track record in leadership roles (10+ years), showcasing effective team management skills within an international business environment;
  • In-depth knowledge of the DACH market dynamics and a nuanced understanding of the renewable energy sector is preferred;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment;
  • Results-driven mindset, propelled by a determination to achieve and exceed set targets;
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business or Commerce.
